CCrISP (Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient) is a two-day, interactive course designed to equip surgical trainees with the skills and confidence to manage critically ill patients effectively.

  • Outline the methods available for improving detection of critical ilness
  • Prioritise the patients who are most at risk and plan to reduce their risk of adverse outcomes
  • Recognise the importance of clear communication between the care team, patient and relatives
