The West Midlands Surgical Training Centre is one of a small number of dedicated Surgical Training centres in the UK, with 8 fully equipped surgical stations to reproduce an exact clinical environment.
Our centre utilises fresh frozen cadaveric material to reproduce the exact clinical anatomy and in doing so we feel we offer a no compromise surgical/dental and clinical training environment. When used by senior faculty, Deanery, Surgical Societies and Med Tech providers, this training can reduce surgical/clinical complications and improve patient outcomes.
Facilities include a 30-seat lecture theatre/common room, changing facilities, decontamination, tissue storage, C-Arm, power tools, microscopes and a very comprehensive range of surgical instrumentation and consumables.
We are licenced by the HTA ( Human Tissue Act ) and accredited by the royal Collage of Surgeons of UK and Ireland.
