This full day course is for ODPs, paramedics, recovery nurses and staff involved in immediate postoperative care of patients.
This course aims to:
Rehearse Airway crisis management drills
Promote awareness of Human factors in crisis management
Revise Common Airway problems in Adult and paediatric anaesthesia and recovery
Provide basic concepts of videolaryngoscopy and fibreoptic intubation
Lectures: Airway Anatomy, Management of Difficult Airway and Extubation Guidelines
Workshops: Simulation, Paediatric Airway, Videolaryngoscopy, Basic Fibreoptic Intubation and Cricothyroidotomy
