Katie originally trained as an Operating Department Practitioner qualifying in 2013 specialising in Anaesthetics and recovery. Having gained vast experience here at UHCW Major Trauma Centre in a full range of specialities including out of hours emergencies, Katie then became part of the Simulation Centre team in 2019. Katie’s wealth of experience and skill set are unitised on the design, development, implementation, and project management of simulation-based education specialising in Anaesthetics, Paediatrics & Trauma. Working as part of a team ensuring all courses are curriculum mapped to meet learning needs and outcomes.
