Course Overview:
A full day course designed to challenge the trainee preparing to become a Medical Registrar.
The course involves a variety of acute medical Hi Fidelity simulation scenarios, case-based
discussion and reflection and Inquiry through debrief.

Doctors in training at IMT 3 STAGE
Course Objectives:
To learn and demonstrate the essential clinical and non-technical skills when managing medical emergencies to aide development of the medical registrar role. To identify the need and options for escalation and referrals as a medical registrar To revise and employ effective communication tools between patients, families, and colleagues within multi-disciplinary teams. To demonstrate effective leadership and team playing skills in the context of medical emergency management To learn and apply appropriate management strategies to influence, negotiate and reassess priorities, working with their respective teams to effectively manage complex and dynamic events.
