I am an FY1 an I would like to apply for funding for a conference. I have been selected to present a Trust audit at this conference.
Only studly leave time ( not expenses) could be considered, which will have to be borrowed from FY2 SL allowance. You would need to give a brief summary of the conference you intend to attend, and the findings you will be presenting along with how this would be useful to achieve the foundation curriculum. You will also have to discuss this with you ES and CS in the first instance. Your CS/ES would have to authorise this and agree that this is appropriate for an FY1 trainee ( along with authorising your absence from work during this period ).
