This full day course is for ODPs, paramedics, recovery nurses and staff involved in immediate postoperative care of patients.
This course aims to:
- Rehearse Airway crisis management drills
- Promote awareness of Human factors in crisis management
- Revise Common Airway problems in Adult and paediatric anaesthesia and recovery
- Provide basic concepts of videolaryngoscopy and fibreoptic intubation
Lectures: Airway Anatomy, Management of Difficult Airway and Extubation Guidelines
Workshops: Simulation, Paediatric Airway, Videolaryngoscopy, Basic Fibreoptic Intubation and Cricothyroidotomy
